Why I became a Coach
Throughout my life I have been fascinated by personal development and enjoy helping people discover their true potential. We are all far more capable than we realise but we tend to let fear stop us in our tracks. I have spent time working in homeless hostels both as a volunteer and a paid member of staff and love encouraging people to try and achieve something with their lives. I became a coach because I feel I have the right outlook and personal attributes that can help people move forward. I trained as a personal performance coach at Europe's number one coach training organisation: The Coaching Academy. Since qualifying I have been rewarded time and time again by witnessing the successes and positive changes achieved by my clients. My role as a coach is to support my clients and encourage them to overcome any obstacles that are holding them back. I help people discover what they really want out of life and assist them in planning how to get it. The answers lie within my clients, my skill is in bringing those answers out in the open through challenging questioning and in helping each client devise an appropriate action plan. To enhance my coaching abilities I trained as an NLP Master Practitioner and also became a licensed Hypnotic Practitioner, licensed by the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I was trained by Dr Richard Bandler, the founder of NLP, Paul McKenna, the well-known personal development expert, John Lavall and Michael Neil.
