Insideout believes that if a child feels good in his or her own skin, life and learning flows more easily. Insideout introduces children and young people to deep relaxation, reflective thinking and Mindful Awareness Practices - MAPs. Mindfulness is the core technique in which learners can discover who they really are and liberate their true potential. This powerful internal resource generates an empowered condition of profound understanding, of themselves, others and of the world in which they live. By learning and practising Mindful methods, children and young people can make balanced, healthy and informed choices Insideout Programme The work we do supports programmes aiming to encourage healthy lifestyles and can therefore be used as evidence for a school’s SEF and in support of CVA criteria. The Insideout philosophy underpins all efforts to assist children in realising their true potential. Insideout helps them to understand that they can be in control of their lives and take responsibility for their own actions without resorting to external, unhealthy, disempowering practices.
